What kind of job would you like to do? There are a lot of different people working in alternative energy. It’s like saying you want to work with food–do you mean a farmer? A chef? A grocery store manager?

With alternative energy, you could be an investor who funds the technology, an engineer who designs new technologies, an advertising agent who markets the technologies, a lawyer who works for those companies, the guy working under the sun who physically installs them, etc. etc. etc.

What is your background now, and in what capacity do you want to work in alternative energy?

my opinion is that the island has more advantages than faults….. people here needs more critical thinking.

likes: food, salsa, heartwarming people, natural resources, beautiful sceneries, bilinguals, and we have so much wonderful things in so limited space….

dislikes: crime, politics, some streets, abandonment towards better education, disengage to the love of our nation.

good things:
well, its beautiful in general ive been living all my life and it still leaves me in awe at times.
the surf is INSANE in the rincon area ( aka west)

bad things
one word.. HUMID
and im my opinion we are to wound up in politics to the pint where we are only harming outselves.

Well, I personally feel that Puerto Rico has more advantages than faults, although it does have faults. But I have lived in the states & in PR. & I feel that most people in PR always talk about PR being bad & the US being good, but some have never been there. The US has alot of faults, I prefer PR. But again, that is my Personal Opinion. Many people dont agree & thats ok, we all need to find our own happiness

PR’S ADVANTAGES:
beautiful weather
rich culture
delicious food
good music
religous people
parties, nightlife, celebrations
big families & beautiful people
gorgeous natural scenery (el Yunque, Camuy)
beaches
sports (boxing,baseball, basketball volleyball)
laid back atmosphere
cheaper (no car insur needed, no heat, no property taxes)
much cheaper college
city life
Lots of stores, etc (most islands dont have it)

DISADVANTAGES:
really no animal shelters (SPCA’s)
politics (bc of our status)
crime (but that is in any city in the world)
poor, homeless, druggies (again any city has it)
not enough jobs (the US isnt much better right now either)
hurricanes

I really loves PR beaches
I love Old San Juan

I hate the homeless that are around some restaurants
I hate the ghetto areas cuz the people there are very weird
I hate the dirtiness of some street out of San Juan

I really love Old San Juan and the beaches are awsome. The food is excellent!!!! hands down to Old San Juan

I have been to puerto rico many times, I loved it!

Two good things:

El Yunque tropical forest, it’s beautiful!
San Juan’s beaches and beachfront hotels.

Two bad things:

Downtown san juan at night does have a lot of druggies
The western part of the island has a lot of homeless people, I feel bad for them!

Overall though it is a wonderful place!

two good and bad things about puerto rico?
like any other country, puerto rico has its advantages and its faults.

I really like going around the island have having fun with my family and friends.

I really like the fact that people like to have fun, eat amd celebrate.

I hate to see the streets and places not taken care off, specially abandonded animals all over the island.

I hate to see druggies working in jobs they are not suppose to be working in, like restaurants and cleaning services. ive seen lots of druggies getting hired in places and cant even work. I believe they have the right to work but in certain places and under supervision.

a few good things about puerto rico
but more faults than good things is kind of awful.

I love my island, but the abandonement and carelessness of places and people are in very bad conditions.

dont u wish puerto rico would have more advantages than faults?

if yes, what?
